Rothwell Park Mini Train and heading home

After the wedding, the kiddos wanted to ride the Mini Train at Rothwell Park (http://www.moberlyminitrain.com/)... they'd been patiently waiting, since it only runs on Sunday afternoons.  It's a super neat and impressive little train line... over a mile of track, and several engines, all lovingly built and run by volunteers.  It was staffed by several Kiwanis Club members who were all very enthusiastic and friendly.  They even invited us to check out the engine shed and the engines and cars in there, and shared some of the history of the train line and engines.  The kids all loved it!

Ready to go!

Coming toward the tunnel (engine shed in the background)

Almost in the tunnel!

Their working steam engine... Since it runs on coal and is more labor intensive to use, it doesn't come out as often as the diesel engines.

Passed out during nap time that day :)... still just adorable when they're sleeping!

Ry was having a blast burying Auntie Kimmy in pillows back at our hotel room that night while we packed!  Jason's dad and Kimmy also had to leave the next day, but we really appreciated them coming to our room to play with the kids and visit while we were packing :)

The next morning we said goodbye to Moberly and headed home to Seattle.  A million thank you's to Jason's family for all they did to make it such a wonderful visit to Tennessee and Missouri, and to Katie and her family also for their warm hospitality during our stay in Missouri.  We had so much fun and treasure all the special memories we made!!  We love you!!
