Our Tennessee trip - feeding the horses and more from our first couple days

Jason's mom and Mike have neat next door neighbors who own several horses and are kind enough to let us bring over treats (apples) to feed them!  It's a fun experience for the kids and all of us to get up close and feed and pet them... and they love apples!

Ry did great letting the horse eat from his hand

Maylee was a little unsure but let me get close enough with her to feed and pet one of the horses

Checking out the really big farm equipment they have

And a few photos from indoors during our first couple days...
Passed out during nap time!

A special treat - ice cream cones!

Maylee and Ellie hugging... SO adorable!!! :)  They are about 2 months apart in age

Granmommy reading stories :)

Maylee is usually terrified of dogs (no idea why... and Rylan has always been fine with dogs), but Chloe is so sweet that Maylee warmed up to her!  Here they are lounging together.  It's so nice that Chloe is such a relaxed, easy going dog.  By the end of the trip Maylee would say "pet Chloe" and want to go find her to pet her!
