Our Florida trip - The Children's Museum of Naples

Yet another new gem in Naples!  This place opened in the last year and was amazing... on par with our Seattle area children's museums in quality and size.  The kids had such a great time they went twice... once with me, Grandmama, Auntie Lainie and Uncle Gary, then again later in our trip with Jason and Grandpa Larry.

The above two are from an exhibit about the four seasons... Maylee had fun putting the leaves in the tree (which then shoots them out the top for the kids to rake up, like falling leaves in the fall)... Maylee also liked going in the igloo in the Winter area, and that's a sheet of ice for the kids to feel behind her!

They have a tremendous outdoor area with a hedge maze, water play area, a mini amphitheater, water painting wall, and they put out things like balls and hoola hoops... fun!

Rylan and Maylee loved shopping in the grocery store

Check out time!

The above three are in a play area for their littlest guests.  (You'll see Maylee's pacifier a lot for the rest of the photos... she was with Jason and had a grand time, but was going through a phase of pretty serious separation anxiety from me on our trip and he let her keep the pacifier to relax. Happily she got back to her more normal self once we were back home in Seattle, but it was rough there for a bit!)

They even had a little climbing wall!

Feeding the birds seeds in the Spring area of the seasons exhibit

Loving the buttons on the cash register at the cafe

Mmmm baking wood fired pizza!

Painting on the water play wall!
