The Meert Family... now in Florida!: The California wedding trip

Though we woke up to fog the next day, it didn't take long for it to burn off and become a beautiful, sunny day, perfect for an outdoor wedding. I got to join Lainie while she got her hair done and help her get ready. This was it... the final hours before my sister tied the knot, and she was radiant with happiness and as confident and as ready as ever.

At the hair salon... they often do bridal hair styling and even had champagne for us. Jason took this photo and did the photography for their wedding!

One of their friends and fellow interfaith minsters officiated their wedding

So lovely! They held their wedding at the Churchill Manor B&B in Napa. When they decided to do a destination wedding, they chose to keep it small with just close family as guests.

Maylee needed to get some wiggles out part way through :)

They created their ceremony and included a traditional Celtic handfasting in their wedding, along with several other meaningful and beautiful rituals

As Jason said, when you put photogenic people in a photogenic area, the results are lots of amazing photos capturing their joy and love on their big day! These were all taken right around the restaurant where we had dinner.

At the reception dinner at Angele, a French restaurant. The meal was delicious! And it was so wonderful to spend some more time with Gary's family and everyone.
