Here's a snapshot of May 2014!

Playing at Newcastle Beach Park on an unusually warm day for May!
A visit to the amazing, indoor Snohomish Aquatic Center... Rylan and Maylee loved it!
Looking cute to go have a tea party with our sweet neighbor, Melva
Rylan's class singing a song during their mother's day performance... it was so special and they did so well! We were all teary-eyed :)
And we had snack with our kiddos at the end
Rylan painted a vase for me, and made hand print lilies to put in it... such a neat and treasured gift that the teachers organized! It has a special spot in our living room.
Zoo trip with the Cornellisons on Mother's Day while they were in town for the weekend!
After the zoo, Jason took the kids for the rest of the afternoon and I took some time to relax out on the lawn before dinner. It was a very fun and lovely day! I feel blessed to be a mom. And I'm so thankful for my mom, my family, all my mom friends, and my friends who care for others like a mom would... you are all very loved!
With our playgroup on our playground
On the zip line at our long-time friends Marc and Heidi's home, before they moved to Idaho this summer. It was so wonderful to see them!
They also had an amazing tree house
So cute playing in their hammock. The kids had so much fun playing together!
A fort/contraption they built!
So fun to see Rylan working on his trucks :)
Cupcakes for Rylan's celebration of the anniversary of his baby dedication at church
And we enjoyed looking through his photo book around that time and reading about his dedication
Rylan and Maylee had fun helping me make cookies for all our moms for Mother's Day!
Yum!
We took several little hikes near our house...
Checking out a slug
We had a wonderful visit with our friends the Cornellisons the last weekend of May! Playing outside...

Lake Boren park playground fun!
Rylan's preschool class took a field trip to West Seattle to check out all the sea life and critters exposed at low tide. The Seattle Aquarium had naturalists there to talk about the sea life.
The shore was teeming with little crabs and other critters... amazing!
They also arranged for divers to come and find things off shore to bring in for the kids to look at!
The divers put everything in this large pool so the kids could check it out, then they returned everything a few hours later. We'd never been over there before, so this was a great experience for all of us. Such a neat field trip!
Pine Lake park with our weekly playgroup :)
Rylan did a great job on this color-by-number picture!
