Christmas in August?? Yes, still catching up!! Here's the first of a few more posts from our Florida trip...
It's a joy every year to set aside time to celebrate our Savior's birth. We started our Advent calendar at home on December 1 (the kids add the different pieces of the Christmas story to our nativity scene and we read Bible verses from the story), and brought along the verses to read for each day in Florida. On Christmas eve we talked about the whole story and had a special prayer together.
Each year the kids understand a bit more about gifts on Christmas morning, and Ry was especially excited. :) We donned our antlers and hats and had great fun opening gifts together!
Auntie Kimmy makes the best faces!
Yay a football!!

Jason loves this hilarious snorting pig from his dad and Deb! :) He still loves anything "pig." It has become a great tension breaker with the kids at home too... you can't help but laugh when you hear it!
Jimmy and Katie are so cute!
